Comprehensive Eye Health Screening

Many sight-threatening eye diseases can be quite advanced before ever being noticed, often with irreversible damage before the condition becomes apparent and treatment is commenced. Early detection can prevent such damage, saving from future vision loss. Annual eye checks are a very good way to pick up the commonest causes of blindness. These include glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, cataract, tears in the retina that could lead to retinal detachment, and signs of high blood pressure or cholesterol. Conversely, a clean bill of eye-health is extremely reassuring, especially if there is a family history of eye diseases such as ARMD. 

We provide comprehensive screening assessments including visual acuity, visual fields, intraocular pressures, full slit-lamp examination, and state-of-the-art imaging including OCT scans. Further tests and investigations, as required, are on hand.
